Bulk Trash Collection

NOTICE: Effective February 14, 2024, the City of Monroe will place a $15 charge for every mattress or box spring picked up from each residence on their utility bill.

Bulk trash is collected once per week at curbside, the same day as household garbage pickup.  Items must be separated from yard trimmings and scrap metals.  Acceptable items include old furniture, clothing and wood scraps.  Liquid paint, oil, dirt, auto parts, and any other type of chemicals are prohibited from curbside collection.

The city offers roll off service to local residents and business customers for remodeling and cleanup.  Customers may request a 30 yard container two weeks in advance for delivery.  Please contact our office for dumpster availability and setup.  Tires are not permitted for disposal!
