The Walton Teen Advocacy Board invites you to join them as they "Look up!" from phones to make eye contact and be positive for each other. This will be a screen-free event on the Walton County Historic Courthouse lawn on Saturday, August 14th, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. There will be music, food, health resources, free giveaways, and lots of fun! If you are able to put away your phone for 2 hours, you'll get a reward! The City of Monroe is currently seeking to completely rehabilitate and replace all playground equipment at Pilot Park, located at 515 East Church Street. The park is situated in the historic district on approximately 1.81 acres and a little over .25 miles east of downtown Monroe.
The City of Monroe will be accepting Bids to contract services for the installation and relocation of a natural gas main line on Highway 11 South and surrounding areas. All submittals should follow instructions as detailed in the Invitation to Bid and be complete in scope as requested by the City of Monroe.
