Look Up!

The Walton Teen Advocacy Board invites you to join them as they "Look up!" from phones to make eye contact and be positive for each other. This will be a screen-free event on the Walton County Historic Courthouse lawn on Saturday, August 14th, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. There will be music, food, health resources, free giveaways, and lots of fun! Pilot Park Playground Equipment Systems

PLEASE NOTE THE DUE DATE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO APRIL 23, 2020 AT 2:00 PM (EST) DUE TO THE COVID-19 SITUATION!!!

The City of Monroe is currently seeking to completely rehabilitate and replace all playground equipment at Pilot Park, located at 515 East Church Street. The park is situated in the historic district on approximately 1.81 acres and a little over .25 miles east of downtown Monroe.

Fox Theatre Exhibit

The Fabulous Fox Theatre is making its debut in Monroe!  Visit the Monroe Walton County Library between January 16th and February 6th to view the interactive display of the history of the Fox Theatre.  The exhibit focuses on how the important events in the Fox Theatre's timeline intersect with American history, the Civil Rights Movement, economics and the importance of communities.  We are honored to host this exhibit which is a partnership between the Fox Theatre Institute and
