Our Mission                    

The City of Monroe Fire Department is dedicated to protecting the lives and property of our citizens and visitors to the community through fire prevention, public education, training, and the delivery of professional fire and emergency services.

For over 110 years the City of Monroe Fire Department has provided a wide variety of emergency services to the community. From it's humble beginnings as a all volunteer department to our fully staffed 21 person agency we protect the City through fire suppression, rescue operations and emergency medical response.
