Public Safety and Municipal Court Complex Renovation Invitation to Bid

The City of Monroe will be soliciting bids for the renovation services for a new Public Safety and Municipal Court Complex in the interior of the existing structure on the property located at 140 Blaine Street, Monroe, Georgia 30655. This bid is intended to seek those services with the lowest effective cost approach possible. All bids should meet or exceed the required specifications for requested services as stated in this Invitation to Bid. Those submissions failing to meet the minimum required specifications will be deemed non-responsive, and will result in disqualification of the submission. Bids will be available to the public on November 11, 2019 at 9:00am (EST) by obtaining bid documents from Sizemore Group at 342 Marietta Street NW, Unit 3, Atlanta, Georgia, 30313, by contacting Angel Kauffmann, angelk@sizemoregroup.com.

Mandatory pre-bid and site visit is on November 25, 2019. Bids should be submitted to City of Monroe, attn: Chris Bailey or Chad Gravette, 215 North Broad Street, 2nd Floor, Monroe, Georgia, 30655 in completely sealed bid packets no later than December 20, 2019 at 11:00 am (EST). Bids shall be accompanied by bid security bonds not less than 5% of the base bid and performance and payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract sum and term. Signed certificates from a surety company acceptable to the Owner shall accompany all bids.

The form of agreement between the Owner and Vendor shall be AIA Document A101-2017, “Standard Form of Agreement between Owner and Contractor Where the Basis of Payment is a Stipulated Sum.”
