Sealed bids for construction of the FY2021 GEFA Water System Improvements Division II - Water Transmission Main will be received until September 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Monroe City Hall, 215 N Broad Street, Monroe, GA 30655, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Any bid received after said time and date will not be considered by the Owner. No bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days except as specifically may be provided in the Instructions to Bidders and/or by State law.

The work includes furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to install approximately 7,900 L.F. of 16” PVC water main and associated appurtenances. Approximately 200 L.F. of this water main will be 16" fusible PVC installed in a 20" steel casing installed by jack and bore under US Hwy 78. The work also includes erosion, sedimentation, and pollution control measures and site restoration items such as grassing and pavement patching.
