Walton Empowers Community Block Party

Hurricane Blowout Parade & Pep Rally

**Original date had to be rescheduled due to rain.   NEW date and TIME - August 26th, 6:30 pm.  Join us Downtown Monroe as we kickoff the official start to the football season in Monroe!  There will be a parade with Walton County Rec Ball, Carver Middle School and of course, your Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes.  Parade begins at 6:00, followed by a pep rally on the Court House lawn.

The City of Monroe (City), located within Walton County, Georgia, is seeking responses to a Request for Proposals from qualified consulting firms for the completion of a Comprehensive Plan (Project). The goal of this process would be the development of a Comprehensive Plan for the City of Monroe looking out to a horizon year of 2032.

Meadows Farm Electric Install

The City of Monroe will be accepting Bids to contract services for the installation of electrical distribution lines.  All submittals should follow instructions as detailed in the Invitation to Bid and be complete in scope as requested by the City of Monroe. Bids are to be submitted no later than August 31, 2021 at 2:00 pm (EST).

 

HISTORIC RESOURCES SURVEY: PHASE I

The City of Monroe  is seeking proposals for the completion of a
comprehensive historic resources survey of an estimated 550 historic parcels, which will include
buildings, structures, sites, and objects constructed before 1981, and located within the Survey Area #1
portion of the City of Monroe Historic Resources Survey Area Map. The survey area is generally
