The following are Mayor appointments to each Committee as created by Charter, with additional special Committees as created by Council. Appointments to each Committee are subject to change on an annual basis either by choice, request, or designation by the Mayor. Committee meetings are reserved for the first Tuesday of each month should the committee choose to hold meetings, as regular Council meetings are reserved for the second Tuesday of each month.

We are proud to present our First Friday Concerts in Downtown Monroe! Join us on May 2nd, June 6th, August 1st & September 5th for live music, food and fun at award winning Town Green! Street closures begin at 5:30pm for vendors, 6:00pm for patrons, and concerts begin at 7:00 pm.
